Clothesline Basket

I love these baskets and wish I had the time to make more. In all actuality all I'd have to do is cut the fabric sometime and then when I'm sitting watching television I'd have something to keep my hands busy. I could be wrapping the clothesline with the fabric and then when time permits again, that would be the time to sit down at the sewing machine. If you have an afternoon to give to a project like this, it is well worth it. It looks complicated but it really is pretty easy. It is like creating pottery with fabric. I love it!

You have to buy the book "Wrap it up" by Susan Breier. It is an awesome book. There are purse patterns in there that are awesome. Give it a whirl. All you need is the book, a sewing machine that can do a zig zag stitch, thread, clothesline and fabric.
