Handmade Hair Bows
My daughter has been feeling WAY more crafty than me lately....So we're featuring one of
her crafts this week...
Supplies needed are glue gun, scissors and your favorite fabric
Cut a rectangular piece of fabric....hers was 8x12 approximately...
which makes a larger bow... the little "band" piece is approximately 2 inches wide
(don't you just love my precise details...lol )
I like the word approximately... :-)
fold into thirds to the middle....gluing each layer down
fold the sides into the middle..
both sides....and glue
pinch into the configuration you like and glue in the creases of
your "pinchies"... :-)
Now for the "band" piece
fold over into thirds and glue
wrap around your bow, with the ends to the back..
place glue on back of bow to hold the ends of the "Band" piece ...
if there is any extra....cut it off...
voila! you have a bow...just attache a barrett or metal
clip and you're all set to dress up your hair...
